Demo Designer.

A portfolio becomes easier to review when each project has context, a clear role and visual evidence. FARGPACK Portfolio Studio helps assemble that material as connected 4:3 pages, with shared designer information, project chapters, editable elements and a continuous preview. You can keep a working project, export a standalone HTML presentation and download individual pages or a package of files. Start with the story you need a reader to understand, then choose layouts that support it.
This guide draws on the current controls and a live check on 3 October 2026. The included Madar example opened with 16 pages and four project chapters. Its designer, brand and work are explicitly fictional training material. The check covered a designer-name change, duplication and Undo, continuous preview, HTML, PNG and ZIP downloads. Other controls below are described by the interface or source, and are not presented as independently exercised.
Prepare projects for the person reading them
The studio suits a designer assembling selected work, a student presenting a concept and a freelancer preparing a tailored portfolio. Choose the recipient first: a packaging studio may need structural decisions and production context, while an identity team may need a logo system and consistent applications. Select a small set of relevant projects before adding pages. The technical page limit is not a target for a reader's attention.
For each project, prepare its title, discipline, summary, client where shareable, year, your role, challenge, approach, outcome and optional link. Gather images that you own or have permission to use. Separate commercial work from self-initiated or fictional concepts. Write only outcomes you can substantiate. A completed visual system is a legitimate design outcome; sales growth, awards or customer response require evidence and should never be borrowed from sample text.
Locate the editing controls
The workspace has Page, Designer profile, Identity and Colors tabs, together with Save project, Open, Undo, Redo and Download files. Edit mode focuses on a selected page. Continuous preview displays the portfolio as a sequence, making it easier to notice repetitive openings, abrupt chapter changes or missing context. Previous and next controls move between pages, while zoom and Fit adjust your view without changing the page's authored dimensions.
Page controls include Add page, Duplicate page, move earlier or later and Delete page. The interface also describes page visibility and project grouping. Decide which chapter a page belongs to before filling it with project-specific text. If the canvas appears too small to inspect, enlarge the workspace or use a closer zoom, then return to Fit to review the whole composition. Do not judge small type solely from a zoomed-in view.

Use the fictional example responsibly
The Madar example is useful for learning how a complete sequence hangs together. In the checked version, its four chapters covered logo design, identity applications, outdoor advertising and packaging. Read the introduction that labels the designer and brand as fictional. Keep that qualification when using the example for training. Renaming the designer field does not turn the sample's career history, project descriptions or artwork into your own achievements.
Before replacing an existing workspace with an example or another saved project, download a copy of the current work. The Open flow warns that it replaces the workspace. Browser-local persistence can support continuity on the same device, but it is not evidence of an account-backed cloud service or automatic cross-device synchronization. Keep a separate dated project file whenever you reach a version worth preserving.
Enter profile information and understand linked text
The Designer profile area provides the main identity and professional information used across templates, including name, role, biography, contact information and CV-related fields such as experience, education, skills, tools and achievements. Fill these from verified information rather than adapting the example mechanically. Omit a field that adds no useful context. Check contact details carefully because a polished closing page is of little use if its address or link is wrong.
Some template text is bound to profile or project data. In the live check, changing the designer name to Demo Designer updated the continuous-preview title. The interface also warns that editing bound text directly makes it independent of the original data. Use the shared field for a change that should propagate, and a local text edit for a deliberate exception. If a later profile change misses one page, check whether that text was previously detached.

Create project chapters with useful explanations
Use the project creation dialog to enter a project name, discipline and summary, then fill the more detailed project fields where appropriate. Keep the role specific: art direction, identity design, illustration or packaging artwork describe different contributions. When work was collaborative, credit your contribution without implying that you completed everything. Remove private client information and unreleased details unless you have permission to include them.
A readable project chapter answers three questions in order: what was required, what you chose and what the visuals demonstrate. For a fictional packaging exercise, a sound challenge might be making variant information easy to locate. The approach could be a shared information grid, and the outcome could be a coherent concept family shown in the images. Label the exercise as fictional and avoid adding invented production approval, commercial results or audience statistics.
Choose templates that match the material
The source lists ten page templates: Cover, Professional profile, Work index, Project introduction, Full image, Image gallery, Idea and story, Colour palette, Contact and Blank page. Layout variants include editorial, minimal and bold. Choose a template for the job of that page. A project introduction provides context; a full image gives one visual room; a story page explains decisions; a gallery compares several related views.
Start a chapter with enough context to orient a new reader, then show the strongest evidence and explain selected decisions. Do not repeat the same long paragraph beneath every mockup. Changing a page composition can replace its elements, and the interface offers a warning and Undo. Save first when making extensive changes. If a custom page already works, duplicating it may be a clearer way to maintain consistency than rebuilding it from scratch.
Work with images and element controls
The upload guidance accepts PNG, JPEG and WEBP images up to 8 MB each. The source also rejects images above 40 million pixels and processes large uploads for use within the editor, so preserve your original high-resolution files separately. Choose Fill the frame when cropping is intentional and Show complete image when the entire artwork matters. Inspect important text and logos near the image edges after changing its fit.
Text, image, shape and icon elements have controls for position, size, rotation, stacking order, locking and hiding. Smart snapping and alignment help establish repeated margins. The interface advertises Shift with the arrow keys for 10-pixel movement and Alt-drag for duplication. These shortcuts were not exercised in the recorded check; try them on a disposable element first. Use layers to select overlapping items instead of repeatedly dragging the wrong image.
Set a consistent presentation identity
Identity and Colors controls cover the portfolio's light or dark appearance, accent, dark and light colors, artwork font and icon style. Source-described icon choices include outline, solid and rounded. Set a restrained base before styling individual pages. Your portfolio should help the project images remain legible, especially when different clients use different palettes. Review captions over both pale and dark visuals rather than assuming one text color will work everywhere.
The custom-font guidance lists TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files up to 8 MB. Check the font's Arabic and English coverage, weight choices and license before including it in a project that may be shared. Font uploads and their retention after reopening were not tested here. Keep the font source and original images with your own archive so that a future revision does not depend only on the browser workspace.
Separate interface language from authored content
You can use the English interface or switch the visible controls in the app. The source also exposes a Portfolio language setting. In the live check, switching interface language changed controls while the authored Madar example remained Arabic. Do not expect a language switch to translate biography, project story, image captions or independently edited text.
For a bilingual delivery, prepare and proofread the actual words in each language. Check the direction of paragraphs, punctuation beside numbers, contact strings and line breaks. A compact English phrase may need a different text box from its Arabic equivalent. Review the continuous sequence again after translation because more text can change the rhythm of several pages, even when each individual page appears acceptable in isolation.
Repeat the checked example before building your own
- Open the included fictional Madar portfolio and note its current page and chapter totals. The tested version contained 16 pages and four chapters.
- Open Designer profile and change the name to Demo Designer.
- Switch to Continuous preview and verify the displayed title updates.
- Return to Edit, duplicate a page and confirm the total rises to 17.
- Use Undo and check that the total returns to 16.
- Open Download files, export the continuous HTML, the current page PNG and the full ZIP, then inspect each downloaded result.
The test verified a PNG measuring 2400 × 1800 pixels, consistent with the 4:3 page ratio. The ZIP contained 16 page SVGs, a standalone HTML file and Portfolio-Project.json. The HTML download succeeded and the continuous preview loaded. These observations cover a representative example, not every possible font, image, page count or edited composition. Do not assume a later template revision must have exactly the same sample totals.
Choose the right output route
Save project keeps an editable JSON working copy. Current-page SVG supports further page editing, while PNG is a fixed image suitable for a preview or another document. The continuous HTML is a standalone portfolio file that opens in a browser. Exporting it does not publish a website or create a public URL. Hosting or sending that file is a separate decision, with its own audience and privacy considerations.
The PDF option is labeled as printing the portfolio. The source routes it through the browser print dialog, where the user can choose Save as PDF where supported. It is different from a direct generated PDF download. The button was visible during the check, but the print flow was not exercised and no finished PDF was verified. Inspect print preview, page boundaries, backgrounds and the saved file before relying on that route for a submission.

Review text overflow and practical limits
The interface states limits of 100 pages, 24 projects and 80 elements per page. Image and font uploads each have an 8 MB limit. Treat these as upper bounds described by the application, not recommended portfolio sizes or a guarantee of smooth operation with every large project. A focused file with a few strong chapters is easier to review and maintain than an archive containing every variation.
The implementation includes a text-overflow check before export, with a review route and an explicit export-anyway option. That warning was not deliberately triggered in this runtime check. When it appears, inspect the affected page instead of dismissing it automatically. Shorten repeated text, enlarge the text area or divide the material across pages. After correcting it, review the exported file as well: an editor preview alone cannot establish that nothing is clipped.
Finish with a delivery check
Open the actual HTML and image files, and inspect the first page, chapter transitions and contact page. Check missing pictures, crop choices, text size, links, spelling and any leftover fictional names. Confirm the role and outcome claims in every chapter. If you choose a PDF route, read the saved PDF rather than stopping at the print dialog. Keep the dated JSON project so later corrections can be made without rebuilding the portfolio.
Common mistakes include leaving sample achievements in place, manually detaching text that should stay linked, changing a template without preserving a custom page, confusing HTML export with hosting and assuming the PDF button already produced a file. For the editorial work behind the pages, see preparing a label designer portfolio, building a brand identity case study and mockup and portfolio usage rights. Use the studio to make your actual contribution easy to understand and verify.
